The objectives of the Wise Up! campaign are:
Here's how you can support the campaign:
Young people can send their views directly to Brook. We will not publish the names of the people who send us their views, but we will use their comments anonymously to help explain to health policy makers why the right to confidentiality is so important.
Organisations representing young people and professionals working with young people have until 28 October to respond to the Government’s consultation on Working Together to Safeguard Children
Tell them why you support the Wise Up! campaign and urge them to sign up as well. Find out who your local MP is and how to contact them here.
Read our campaign policy briefing to find out more about the background to the campaign.
Read our summary of good practice guidance available for professionals working with young people.
Ask them to sign up to Brook’s campaign and ask if they have adopted the Department of Health’s ‘You’re welcome’ criteria on working with young people.
If you’d like to give your support to Brook’s campaign, send us an e-mail of support: wiseup@brookcentres.org.uk
If you're contacting us on behalf of an organisation we may reproduce your comment on this website. We may also publish individuals' comments, but we will not use their names. If you do not want us to put your comment up on the site, please say so in your e-mail.
