Brook welcomes fpa booklet for primary school children

Sexual health charity Brook welcomes the publication of the fpa’s Let’s grow with Nisha and Joe booklet on growing up.

Jules Hillier, Brook’s Head of Communications and Fundraising, said: “Brook is astonished at the storm in a teacup over-reaction to this booklet. This booklet is entirely relevant and age-appropriate for children, teaching them about physical and emotional development, friendships and giving them the proper names for their body parts.

“The booklet is a useful resource for teachers and parents/carers to talk to children about growing up, providing a good foundation for lifelong learning about sex and relationships education.”
