Brook announce Baroness Massey of Darwen as Honorary President

Baroness Massey of Darwen has been appointed Honorary President of young people’s sexual health charity Brook. Baroness Massey will be an advocate for Brook, speaking up for young people and sexual health as well as hosting events for supporters, including Brook’s parliamentary reception in December at the House of Lords. 

A former teacher and education adviser, Baroness Massey has a strong background in sexual health and young people having been director of fpa from 1989-1994 and a member of Brook for many years.

Simon Blake, Brook’s Chief Executive, said: “Brook is delighted to welcome Baroness Massey as our Honorary President as a long-standing member of Brook and leader in advocating for young people’s sexual health in parliament.”

Baroness Massey said: “I am pleased to be working with Brook which has many years experience in innovating and pioneering developments in the field of young people and sexual health. I look forward to becoming more involved with Brook’s important work.”
