Simon Blake, National Director, Brook
Claire Phillips, Deputy Director, Stakeholder and Partner Relationships, Department of Health
Dr Petra Boynton, Sex Educator, Agony Aunt and Academic
Details
Date: Thursday 4 March 2010
Venue: Arsenal Football Club, Emirates Stadium, London N5
The targets for reducing sexual violence, teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections will not be reached unless gender becomes a primary consideration in formulating, developing and delivering policy and practice around young people’s sexual health.
This annual conference is an important opportunity for professionals to come together to discuss the latest government strategies, policy developments and targets, and their impact. The conference will discuss the important role that gender plays in supporting young people in understanding themselves and making informed choices about their relationships, sexual health and contraception.
