Details

Venue: Arsenal Football Club, Emirates Stadium, London N5

The targets for reducing sexual violence, teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections will not be reached unless gender becomes a primary consideration in formulating, developing and delivering policy and practice around young people’s sexual health.

This annual conference was an opportunity for professionals to come together to discuss the latest government strategies, policy developments and targets, and their impact. The conference discussed the important role that gender plays in supporting young people in understanding themselves and making informed choices about their relationships, sexual health and contraception.

On the evening of the conference Brook held its annual awards dinner to celebrate the outstanding work young people and professionals are doing to improve the lives of young people all over the UK.
