In this educational resource students (aged 13-18 years old) are encouraged to consider their own and others’ attitudes to sex, pregnancy and abortion and to develop empathy for people facing personal dilemmas and difficult decisions.

This resource also recognises that abortion can be a controversial issue and that there can be some anxiety around teaching it in a way that will maintain balance. All information comes from reputable sources, and beyond learning the facts students are asked to consider their own views on the ethical implications of abortion.
