Brook is testing a new, online way of supporting young people with sexual health services and information.

The Ask Brook telephone service is currently closed – you can still contact Ask Brook by text and webchat (IM) from 9am – 3pm Monday to Friday.

The text service can be reached on 07717 989 023 (standard SMS rates apply). The webchat (IM) service is available by clicking on the blue ‘Advisor online’ button which will display to the right of this screen when an advisor is online.

You can find information on a range of topics on Brook’s website as below:

  • To find your nearest service click here
  • For STI help click here
  • For information on contraception and emergency contraception click here
  • For information and support on relationships click here
  • For pregnancy advice click here.

The telephone service is closed until further notice while we are focusing on delivering more digital forms of communication to young people through the text and webchat service.

The 24 hour recorded information service will still be available on 0808 802 1234 by pressing option 1.

If you need to speak to someone outside of Brook opening times please contact:

  • NHS 111 by dialling 111, or NHS 24 (Scotland) on 08454 242424.

You can contact an advisor by phone, text or live chat and you can also find a wide range of information and advice in these web pages, including quizzes and videos.
