Training for Professionals

We offer free training for educators and professionals in Sefton. These online training sessions cover various topics including:

  • LGBT+ inclusive RSE
  • Sexual health in the community

free condom scheme

Brook partners with outlets to offer free condoms and lube to everyone in Sefton.

targeted group support

Brook provides small group programmes for targeted groups of young people. These programmes run for 4-6 sessions and may include bespoke sessions for ESOL/ESAL groups and SEND young people.

School support

We provide support for schools and other education providers in the delivery of high-quality Relationships and Sex Education. This support may include:

  • Policy work
  • Example lessons
  • Professional training on specific topics such as misogyny or consent

health promotion

Brook runs health promotion activities in Sefton. This includes:

  • Information and guidance
  • STI testing
  • Condom distribution
  • Training in community settings to raise awareness of HIV and PrEP and reducing health inequalities.

Clinical outreach

Our outreach nurses can provide comprehensive sexual healthcare to anyone who may not be able to access our mainstream service, irrespective of age or gender. We work in a variety of settings throughout Sefton and can provide home visits.

This includes:

  • Contraceptive methods: Pills, patches, implants and injections
  • Appointments for coil fittings
  • Condoms
  • STI testing and treatment
  • Pregnancy testing
