From April 1st 2024, Brook is commissioned to provide outreach and education work in Thurrock. Explore our free support below and get in touch if you have any questions.
We offer training for professionals who work with young people in Thurrock. These training sessions are online and cover various topics including:
Brook runs the local C-Card scheme, offering young people aged 13-24 in Thurrock the opportunity to register for a C-Card and get free condoms and lube from various outlets.
Brook trains organisations that would like to be a C-Card outlet in Thurrock. Contact us at Thurrock.Education@brook.org.uk to find out more about the C-Card programme.
We also offer training in community settings to raise awareness of HIV and PrEP and reducing health inequalities.
RSE at Home is our series specially created for parents and carers who want to further support their children’s relationships and sex education at home. Brook expert staff use their knowledge and experience to give you support on how to address potentially tricky topics at home.
These live, interactive sessions will be delivered online via Zoom.

Sessions are available for years 9-13. They are age and stage appropriate and will focus on topics that support the school’s delivery of mandatory RSE such as:
Brook works with community groups and organisations across Thurrock to deliver targeted education programmes. Our team provide a tailored approach to education sessions with young people. During these sessions, young people can learn about sexual health information, C-Card as well as local services.
