Terms and conditions for digital products

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the purchase and use of digital products provided by Brook (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully before completing your purchase. By completing your purchase, you agree to these Terms and our applicable policies.

2. Products covered by these terms

These terms apply to the purchase and use of:

  • Online training courses
  • Online lesson plans

Any other digital content or services purchased through our website.

3. Orders and payments

  • All orders are placed via our website https://www.brook.org.uk.
  • Prices are displayed in GBP and may be subject to change.
  • All prices exclude VAT as VAT is not charged on our digital products.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
  • Once payment has been successfully processed, you will receive confirmation by email.
  • We reserve the right to accept or reject any order.

4. Access to digital products

  • Access details will be provided by email once payment has been received.
  • Access to most products is through our LMS platform Brook Learn.
  • Your access is personal and must not be shared unless explicitly agreed or outlined
  • We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access if we believe these Terms have been breached.
  • Digital products may be updated from time to time. If these are housed on Brook Learn, you will have access to the most up-to-date version during your access period.

5. License and use

When you purchase a digital product, you are able to access this content for the length of time stipulated.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute or share the content without permission.
  • Use the content for commercial purposes unless agreed in writing.
  • Modify or create derivative works from the content.

6. Refund policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If any course or resource is not as described or unfit for its intended purpose, please contact us at website@brook.org.uk and we will work with you to resolve the issue, including providing a refund where appropriate.

  • Change of mind: If you purchased a course or resource in error or changed your mind, you may request a refund or to transfer access to another member of your organisation within 14 days of purchase, provided that you have not accessed the course or downloaded any materials/lesson plans. By accessing a course or downloading resources, you acknowledge that the digital content has been supplied and you waive your right to cancel and receive a refund during the 14-day cooling-off period.
  • Change access to someone else: If you bought the resource or course for someone and you want to change access to someone else, we are happy to support with this provided the original person has not accessed the resource or course.
  • Duplicate purchases: If you have accidentally made a duplicate purchase, please contact us at website@brook.org.uk and we will arrange a refund for the duplicate order.

Please note, any optional donations made as part of your purchase are non-refundable. In unique circumstances e.g. where the wrong donation amount was inputted, we may be able to offer a refund. In these cases please contact website@brook.org.uk.

7. Technical requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary devices, internet connection and software to access the digital products

Although we test our products with the most common devices, we do not guarantee compatibility with all devices or systems.
