Healthy lives for young people

Brook’s BIG illustration competition

15 September – 6 October 2020

SHARE YOUR ARTISTIC SKILLS

Brook believes in a society where all young people are free to be themselves, and we know the education they receive at school plays a vital role in that.

That’s why this #SHW20 we’re launching an illustration competition to champion young illustrators and ensure our education resources are diverse, inclusive and relatable for all.

The competition is open to anyone aged 18-25 in the UK. The winner will receive £200 and have their illustrations featured across our resources to be used in RSE classes and trainings.

The competition closes on 6 October 2020.

What we’re looking for

We’re asking for three submissions exploring the topics of relationships, bodies and types of sex to expand our illustration bank and showcase the talent of our community of young people. We want images to be inclusive of ethnicity, ability and gender, so that they represent the diverse range of young people we work with. We will share our favourites on Insta stories.

To help us choose the winners we’ve lined up some special judges: Gabrielle de la Puente and Zarina Muhammad aka The White Pube. The winner will receive £200 and have their illustrations featured across our resources to be used in RSE classes and trainings. The two runners up will also have their illustrations featured on Brook’s resources, as well as some goodies including a Brook tote bag!
