The C-Card scheme allows you to pick up free condoms from local outlets like pharmacies, youth services and shops. See if you can join C-Card in your area to access free condoms and lube.
Condoms protect against unwanted pregnancy by stopping the sperm contained in semen coming into contact with the vagina (which could lead to an egg being fertilised). They are also the only method of contraception that provides protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
There are many condom distribution schemes around the UK that allows you access to free condoms and lube from local outlets. Sometimes these are age restricted.
For some schemes you’ll need to register first in order to be able to collect free condoms from a number of outlets, including pharmacies, shops and public services. In other places you can simply turn up to one of the outlets.

If there isn’t a free condom scheme in your area, you can always visit your local sexual health service, such as a sexual health clinic, to access free condoms.
You can also buy condoms at most shops and pharmacies, as well as online for as little as £1 and your GP may be able to provide free condoms too. There’s no minimum age to buy condoms so you won’t need ID or your purchase approved at the till.
