This module helps you to check that your knowledge, confidence and skills are where you need them to be. It covers preparation, planning and exploring your own values and expectations. It addresses inclusivity and prioritising safety and boundaries. It also explores safeguarding, providing support, guidance and signposting.
This module will help you to navigate some of the tricky issues that are thrown up by the intersection of faith and RSE. It includes a look at the mandatory guidance and equalities legislation, as well as the lived experience of young people of faith.
This module will identify potentially difficult and sensitive issues for parents and carers. It will support you to implement a range of strategies that will help, including advice on hosting an effective parents and carers RSE event. It also explains how to support parents and carers with techniques they can use to discuss relationships and sex at home.
Recognising some of the barriers to learning that young people may experience in RSE is key to help them overcome them. This module explores different teaching strategies with suitably adapted lesson plans.
