If you work with young people in Newcastle, we’d love to invite you to one of our upcoming webinars to learn more about the Brook Newcastle service. Taking place in September and October 2026, these “Welcome to Brook” sessions will give you an overview of what this service does, who it’s for and who can access it as well as ways we can support your organisation.
We offer training for professionals who work with young people in Newcastle. These training sessions can be online or in-person and cover various topics including:
For in-person training, please email newcastle@brook.org.uk with your requirements.
Brook specialists can deliver engaging workshops and assemblies for groups of young people in various settings.
Topics include STIs, contraception, healthy relationships and pornography. We can also develop bespoke sessions to meet the needs of your young people, so please get in touch by emailing newcastle@brook.org.uk to enquire.
Brook provides small group programmes for targeted groups of young people. These sessions may include bespoke sessions for ESOL/ESAL groups and SEND young people.

MyLife is a personalised programme that supports young people to identify and work towards goals that matter to them. Delivered over up to six one-hour sessions, the programme helps young people navigate challenges, build confidence and develop the skills and motivation to improve their sexual health and wellbeing.
Support is tailored to each young person and can cover a wide range of topics including sexual health, relationships, self-esteem, confidence and broader wellbeing issues. Developed by young people, the programme encourages reflection, recognising strengths and empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives.
This programme is education and support only – it’s not therapy so we’re unable to help with mental health concerns such as self-harm, eating disorders or trauma.
Sessions are delivered in a local community venue and delivered by our trained Specialists.
Young people can also self-refer for the programme.
To enquire, please email us at newcastle@brook.org.uk
Schools, colleges, and any organisations working with young people in Newcastle, can book Brook to deliver outreach in your setting and for events for free.
This could involve a Health Promotion stand to share information, working with a small group delivering our accessing services information, giving out condoms and/or STI tests.
Please contact newcastle@brook.org.uk to enquire.
We run drop-in sessions at various community locations and schools and colleges.
At these sessions we can support young people with:
