Sexual Health Awards

The Brook and SH:24 Sexual Health Awards recognise excellence in sex-postive relationships and sex education and information.

Awarding people and grassroots initiatives breaking ground in destigmatising sex and sexual health.

Welcome to the Sexual Health Awards 2022. Nominations will open on 18 July 2022 and close on 7 August 2022. Winners will be announced in November 2022. 

The categories are…

This award recognises an individual (or group of individuals) who, through the use of social media, has made an exemplary contribution to destigmatising sexual & reproductive health.

Influencers must have more than 10k followers on at least one platform.

This award recognises an individual who, through the use of social media, has made an exemplary contribution to destigmatising sexual & reproductive health.

Micro-Influencers must have no more than 10k followers on any platform.

This award recognises a writer whose work consistently destigmatises sexual and reproductive health, with particular emphasis on inclusion and diversity.

This award recognises an individual up to and including the age of 25 for their significant contribution to destigmatize sexual & reproductive health for young people. 

pink square with bold writing that reads 'grass roots initiative'

This award recognises the best non-profit grassroots initiatives aimed at destigmatizing sexual and reproductive health, with particular emphasis on inclusion and diversity.

(Grassroots initiatives are those that originate from collective action at a local level to effect change at local, regional, and/or national levels. Organisations and initiatives must operate within the UK.)
