GIRES (the Gender Identity Research and Education Society) have an excellent TransWiki which collates all support groups across the UK.
TransUnite is a comprehensive resource for people in the UK searching for support in the transgender community.
We’re keen to make sure our list is as comprehensive as possible, so please contact us to help us add the services and support groups that we’ve missed.
Belfast Butterfly Club: a support network for transgendered people and their families
The Rainbow Project: Working to improve the physical, mental & emotional health of gay, lesbian, bisexual and/or transgender people and their families in Northern Ireland. With centres in Belfast and one in Londonderry
The Clare Project: open to anyone wishing to explore issues around gender identity.
Allsorts: a project based in Brighton to support and empower young people under 26 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure (LGBTU) of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
Gendered Intelligence runs a youth group for trans, non-binary, gender variant and/or gender questioning young people aged between 13 and 25 who’d like to take part in activities, make new friends, share information and provide mutual support. The group meets once per month, on the second Monday of the month @ The Station, Silver Street, Bristol, BS1 2AG.

LGBT Youth Scotland: LGBT Youth Scotland provides that support, through youth groups, counselling, information and advice.
Edinburgh Trans Women: launched in 2008 to provide support and social contact for male to female transsexual women.
Hart Gables: established since 1997, Hart Gables is a support service for those who identify as LGBT+ across the Tees Valley area.
Tavistock and Portman: This is an NHS clinic specialising in dealing with children and young people (up to the age of 18) and their families who are experiencing difficulties in the development of their gender identity.
CliniQ: A queer inclusive and non-judgemental sexual health and well-being service to trans* clients, members of the trans* community, their friends and families.
Translondon: a discussion/support group for all members of the ‘trans’ community, whatever their gender identity (or identities) and whatever stage in their ‘transition’ they have reached (if at all)
FTM London: comprised of trans guys, genderqueer people, and all those who were assigned female at birth and are questioning their gender identity. Although based in central London, many attend the meetings from further afield.
Galop: Galop is London’s LGBT anti-violence & abuse charity. Galop gives advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse. Galop also supports lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.
The Beaumont Society: runs a number of regional forums for members
