Welcome to Brook! Our new education service in Wales supports all young people aged 11+ to receive comprehensive, age-appropriate education on Pornography, Misogyny and Gender Stereotypes as well as offering free training for teachers and professionals who work with young people.

North wales

Education workshops

We offer education workshops in all North Wales secondary schools and further education settings focusing on:

  • Pornography awareness
  • Understanding and challenging misogyny and gender stereotypes

And further related subjects.

Online training

We run online learning sessions for teachers and people that work with young people on various topics throughout the year. Topics might include:

  • Pornography awareness
  • Exploring masculinity and tackling misogyny
  • Managing disclosures of sexual harassment

These sessions are a space for teachers and professionals to ask questions about topics, learn from Brook experts and share examples of best practice.

My Life programme for young people

For young people in South Wales seeking additional support with healthy relationships, consent, sexual health, and well-being, we offer “My Life,” our early intervention programme. My Life is available as a group or 1:1 programme with a Brook Specialist. 

These sessions are tailored to individual needs and cover a variety of personal, social, and health education topics, utilizing motivational and coaching techniques from a toolkit of quality-assured resources
