Accessing contraception

To book an appointment about contraception please phone the clinic on 0151 305 0148 or visit the clinic during walk-in hours.

For implants and coils, due to high demand, appointments may be booked several weeks in advance. If you require support sooner, please consider asking your GP if they are able to help.

Some pharmacies in Sefton offer the combined pill and progestogen-only (‘mini’) pill for free. Contact your local pharmacy for more information.

The free condom scheme gives you access to free condoms, internal condoms (femidoms) and lube from a number of outlets.  This is free anyone living or studying in Sefton.
