By age 13, over half of young people have seen pornography. Yet almost half say they learnt little or nothing about it in Relationships and Sex Education.
That gap leaves young people vulnerable. Early relationships, sexual experiences and attitudes towards sex, pleasure and their own bodies can be shaped by porn.

Pornography
In this 1 hour briefing, participants will learn about the prevalence of pornography, what the laws are around pornography and how to support young people.

Pornography, Nudes & Semi Nudes
Participants gain knowledge & confidence to address these topics in an age-appropriate way. Learn the laws and research on pornography & nudes, and learn practical approaches for teaching and answering challenging questions.

Teaching Sensitive Subjects
This flexible workshop provides professionals working with young people with an overview of key issues in relationships and sex education. It will equip participants with a deeper understanding of these topics, enabling them to effectively navigate discussions, answer questions, and signpost effectively.
Nudes & Semi Nudes
This briefing will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to address Youth Produced Sexual Imagery (YPSI) in schools, including knowing the law, understanding young people’s perspectives, and safeguarding and reporting procedures.
All our lessons on pornography can be delivered by Brook, and some can be purchased as lesson plans to incorporate into your PSHE curriculum.
Lesson Bundle – Online Safety & Wellbeing
Lessons for Year 7-11 exploring online safety and wellbeing, covering healthy digital habits and online boundaries, image sharing, online pressure, pornography, deepfakes and navigating digital sexual relationships safely.
Year 9 – Nudes, Deepfakes and Looking After Yourself Online
A Year 9 lesson to help pupils understand online consent and the risks of nudes and deepfakes, and to know how to manage pressure and seek help.
Year 10 – Pornography and Expectations
A Year 10 lesson teaching the law relating to pornography, as well as promoting critical thinking about how it can shape expectations and behaviours in relation to sex and relationships.
Year 12/13 – Exploring Pornography Impacts
This session delivered by Brook specialists provides a safe, supportive environment for young people to critically examine how pornography can shape their expectations and beliefs about sex, bodies, consent, and pleasure.
