More about menopause

How can Brook help?

We know that stigma can be a huge barrier for those accessing reproductive healthcare, whatever their age and stage of life. That’s why we are delighted to have secured new funding from the Department of Health and Social Care Women’s Health and Wellbeing Fund to fight stigma and improve the lives of Cornwall residents experiencing menopause in the workplace.

Brook’s new Menopause Support Programme will empower women, and those experiencing menopause, to feel supported to remain in work or return to work.

The programme involves:

  • Tailored 1:1 support with people experiencing the menopause.
  • FREE organisational training for all staff and leaders/managers.
  • Practical support to local Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) following training to redevelop their policies and procedures so that they are inclusive of people experiencing the menopause.
