Brook appoints Ambition's Helen Marshall as Chief Executive

Brook, the UK’s largest young people’s sexual health charity, today announced the appointment of Helen Marshall as their Chief Executive. Helen comes to Brook from youth charity Ambition, where she has been Chief Executive for the past six years.

Announcing the appointment, Brook’s chair, Eve Martin said:

“I am delighted that Helen has been appointed to our role. Her leadership experience and passion for Brook and for young people shone through the recruitment process and I know she will enable Brook to continue to thrive and grow in the future.”

Helen, who has 20 years of senior experience in the voluntary, public and private sectors and who has led a time of successful change at Ambition, said:

“I am really excited to be joining Brook and leading the next phase of growth and development. I have been hugely impressed with their passion to support young people to make positive and healthy lifestyle choices. I’m looking forward to building on their current successes to develop new opportunities.”

Helen joins the organisation on 18 April 2016. Brook’s interim Chief Executive, Jules Hillier, will remain in post until 29 April to ensure a smooth handover.
