This course supports professionals working with young people to safely utilise the Traffic Lights framework to identify, understand and respond to sexual behaviours.
The framework categorises sexual behaviours as green, orange or red, helping you make informed decisions and have meaningful conversations about age-appropriate behaviour.
The original is owned by the Australian organisation True Relationships & Reproductive Health and has been licensed and adapted for use in the UK by Brook.
After completing the training, you will be able to:

To access the Traffic Lights framework, professionals must complete Traffic Lights training. This is to ensure safe use of the framework. The framework cannot be shared with people who have not completed the training.
Both the framework and training are designed to complement existing safeguarding processes and should not be considered a replacement for your organisation’s safeguarding procedures.
